My work has always called me to teach, and at the same time to learn.

The founding of Grow Wise Learning in 2014 served to incorporate my education in the fine arts and the sciences, my training in the classroom, my experience as a naturalist, and my passion to connect students of all ages to their local environment. It is my firm conviction that every individual, whether rural, urban, and everywhere in between, deserves the chance to develop a relationship with the natural world. With Grow Wise Learning I aim to assess barriers and encourage opportunities to explore the places where we live and learn in every season through rich connections to community and relevant opportunities for stewardship and civic engagement.
